Hey cazdazoz,

it's sound frustrating I know.

I'm not pretending to fully understand you full storey but I think the delays in the repair schedule, both warranty and insurance work is a consequence of the old management team.

I know for a fact that the back log left behind has been huge to the point of being overwhelming.

It doesn't make not having your camper any easier but try to see where the blame actually lies.

I'm pretty sure that given the chance to get on top of the mess, the new team will be far more efficient.

Cheers

Hi Cazdazoz

Are you dealing direct with Conqueror HQ or are you going through a dealership?

If not try contacting them direct. As SVX17 has said there is a huge backlog - at least contacting them, they will be able to provide a time frame to repair.

I know from personal experience how frustrating and disappointing it is not to be able to use your new toy. Unfortunately, there are others in the same boat.

I hope it doesn't take you as long to get your trailer sorted out as it has me.

Cheers

Anthony

Same story here, my 440 needed a big repair since April. It's now happening, and Annette is keeping me informed of the progress they are making. Have patience, CA has a big backlog and they can't fix that overnight. But they are trying hard and they have my vote of confidence.

Hi All, as a follow up on my previous post. I picked up my 440 yesterday from HQ (and I believe waved at SVX17 on the way),  after a really big repair (a nice gentlemen decided it was OK to drive into the side). Many parts needed to be ordered from SA, the 440 half ripped apart, electricity removed, and then build up the whole thing again. The repair work is absolutely first class. They also found a leaking window and fixed that as well. It looks as new again, no in fact it looks better than new. The rear door closes again, the spare wheel is easy to lock. It's a blessing.

Annette has kept me informed during the whole process, and delivered as promised. I couldn't be happier. Thumbs up for the team at Conqueror.

Hi 4fun,

soz I didn't see you waving but I was pretty chaffted about getting the 440 back before Chrissy.

I had look at yours while I was there. My Missus actual said as we pulled up .... " look we've got new wheels" lol, but it wasn't to be.

The new team are kicking goals and I couldn't be happier with job they have done on mine.

Had chat with Stuart, only good things at HQ now days !

Great news all.  Annette found Victorian Camper Trailers in Dandenong South and they fixed both of my problems in 48 hours.  Some of the original rivets in the roof had been put in 'not straight' and it appears the Conqueror in Africa didn't put the silastic goop in the rivet holes before they riveted them... Anyhow some drilling, some extra dollops of goops and new riveting.. all good.

For the kitchen slide out they found that the back rail (facing the inside space) had not been welded in place vertically and was angled away from the kitchen slide unit at the top.  A reeled and installation vertically solved the problem so the kitchen slider now has almost no slack.

Ready now for a new years bash to the high country.

We rang and email conqueror QLD for parts missing on our camper ! To buy and replace them ! After each call with the new girl on the phone they said I will get them to call you back !
Sadly No calls no emails !
I want to spend some money with them ! But now will just go build the bits I need !
Little disappointed

Can I suggest you don't give upon them

I have sent an e-mail to Annette in sales asking her to get in touch with you - lets see how that goes

of late Conqueror have been very good at getting back to customers - unusual that they haven't done so with you

Cheers
