G'day guys and gals,
Prep'ing the 490 for a trip to Perth at Christmas time and noticed that our Webasto heater is leaking Glycol from the body of the heater (internally). Found a huge puddle on the floor of the fwd storage bin.

So I rang Webasto in Sydney who are currently chasing up the parts required...…...will be a seal kit plus, rear section of the body housing.

Lucky for us, there is a Webasto agent only a few kilometres from our place. They are, Technic Trims and Sunroofs, and are located in Hume, ACT.

So I've visited them yesterday to show Jason what is going on with the heater, and to suss out the access for repair...…..which they are very happy with. Better than a motorhome, according to Jason.
The 490 is booked in for the 6th November and should be a one-day job (3x hours).
Cost: out of warranty, so expecting an invoice around $550.00 for parts + $25.00 freight + $110/hr labour + $?? for Glycol. Bugger!!

(Note: Webasto are the leading manufacturers of sunroofs in the world, with about 90% of vehicle sunroofs made by them. Now you know!!)

I'll keep you updated. Cheers for now, Filbee56
