We have started 'visually stalking' rest stops on our travels along the freeway... quite funny really... and a bit weird I suppose....

Have also seen a few in my travels. Just a thought that comes to mind- maybe all us conqueror owners should adopt a uhf channel to call on for a chat, if we see another. We could put our radios on to scan that (and other) channels or just switch when we see another conqueror. Just a thought!!

If I see a Conqueror I always give a shout out on chnl 40 (many of us monitor 40 when travelling as a matter of course)

We have seen a couple of 490's.
One on the road to Ross, out of Alice.
The other was in the mountains before you drop down into Cairns.
Both waved and tooted, but didn't stop or call up.
You make a good point Drover.

Hopefully it wasn't us KiwiAngler - we were at Goomburra from the 27rh through until earlier today. That's out along the Cunningham Highway on the way to Warwick whereas you would be out along the Warrego Highway I'd imagine.

I'll start monitoring ch.40 as we're usually on 20-21 when we travel (a habit borne of travels with friends).

Might have been us. We were heading south on the M1 to Pottsville from the 30 Dec to 4 Jan.
