Good evening forum. I am about to put a Supapeg awning on my van but need to cross check how they have been done on other units. Would it be possible to get some photos of brackets, where they are positioned and any internal support plates that may have been fitted.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Filbee. It's an ex-show 2015 Commander S upgraded to UEV490 by Conqueror Newcastle. It's was done as Peter took over from Conqueror Brisbane and was before they came up with the various models within the 490 range if that makes any sense. Currently has the standard SA canvas.

I think it was a little bit before you got yours. I live in Monash and have friends in Jerra and have seen what I believe is your rig out thd front of your place a couple of times.

I tried to get a price for supply or supply and fit from Newcastle a number of times but gave up after a lack of response. Subsquent to this post I saw something in a post by William the Conqueror about specs for brackets so I have PM'd him.

I know I can fit the awning BUT not intending to drill holes until I have the correct info and brackets, as well as photos of how they are placed.

Cheers

Hi Gadget. I've attached some photos of mine. A little hard to see as my awning is up at the moment. Stainless brackets and stainless closed end rivets , also Sikaflexed. There are more photos on this forum from Reiner who I copied the idea off and he was kind enough to give me enough stainless to cut up and give to mate to weld up. I have a supapeg 270 degree 2800mm square end RHS. Awning which they will custom make . Can get some better photos when I pack down
Cheers Matt
