Does anyone know where to get parts for the Conquerors? I have a UEV345 that we bought last month & have already managed to lose to cap to the water filler tank. Have looked locally but can't find a cap that fits.
Thanks

Hi Brendan,
I lost the water tank cap for my 490.
I put it on the spare wheel while I filled the tank, then just drove off with it still sitting there.
I wonder how long it stayed there for?

Called Conqueror Australia in Brisbane and they sent me a new one, along with reassurance that I wasn't the first silly person to lose one.

Thanks yeah I filled it up at home (taking it on its first trip) & left it sitting on the front box lol. The trailer was covered in that much silicone spray we thought it would still be at home when we got back but couldn't find it. I will give them a call. Thanks again

We spent two days dragging it along some very dusty roads before we noticed it was missing, and on the 490 the filler is at the back, so it gets the full swirl effect.

I taped up the filler opening with PVC tape to seal it until I got the replacement. This was to keep out the insects and stop anymore dust getting in on our trip. Then I gave it a good flush with clean water and shook the trailer violently as it was emptying to stir up any dust that had settled to the bottom of the tank.

I always do a walk-around just before I drive away after hooking up the trailer. Checking that everything is latched/locked/plugged in/tied down/switched on/etc.
Now the filler cap is included in my checks.

I can live with making a stupid mistake (happens more than I will admit) but really hate it if I do the same thing twice (happens more than I will admit).

Fortunately we noticed when we got to where we were staying so put a plastic bag over it & zip tied it. The water tank fillers are at the front where the front box is so doesn't seem as though it got much dirt in it if any. Glad we're not the only ones lol
