I wonder if the Kimberley Kampers airbags would fit. They look very well made and have inbuilt fail safe in them to get you out of trouble if deflated. Also I assume the Karavan would be similar spec in weight to a 490.

I have airbags in the prado and love them. Auto self leveling (great once the 440 is connected)

We too, lower our tyre pressures to squeeze the UEV-490 into the garage. Then re-inflate. Reverse order for taking it out. PITA, but works a treat. Very happy to have it undercover.
Our next home (acreage in Shoalhaven) will have dedicated storage for both the UEV-490 and the caravan. For the past 11 years, our caravan has been in storage (free), making it a PITA for packing / unpacking / washing / maintenance.
All the best with solving your storage issues Wayne.  And good idea with the shipping container Anthony.

Cheers, Filbee56

I've also been looking at the Vehicle Components airbag suspension. It's a $6000 investment so I have to sleep quite a few more nights before committing to such a massive investment. Would be very keen to hear from someone that had made this modification, and what their experiences are.
