All construction type work is done in the head office in Brisbane. Dealers in different states get completed trailers from Brisbane.

I suggest talking to a local Dealer ( even if you did pick from head office) or talk to head office direct.

So why are there such radical differences in approach to gas cylinder location and storage - this is what started this thread? (it's not about jockey wheels).

It seems there are no two CA caravans with the same design approach, and then there are also examples of gas storage being "updated" by CA within weeks of the caravan being delivered (see 490 thread).

It raises the question of whether CA has really come to grips with the gas regulations as they apply in each state, and as they will also apply nationally very shortly.  This is a safety and compliance issue and needs to be taken very seriously.

You're a dealer.  You see these concerns raised here time and again by owners.  Would seem to me that you are better placed than anyone here to bring such concerns to the attention of CA and get their attention.  Otherwise these issues remain here unresolved for all owners (and prospective owners) to read and draw their own conclusions about the product's safety.

hi jos
can you move the jockey wheel up or down in its clamp so the handle misses the gas box

I contacted CA about the issue but they weren't interested.
