Hi

I'm interested to know what temperatures you all set your camper fridges to?

Thanks

Hi Basel,

I set mine to 3 degrees. Probably a little lower than most, but I like my drinks extra cold. I'm also a little paranoid, and this allows for the temp to creep up a bit, without going above what I consider to be acceptable.
I have been doing this with my car fridge for quite some time, so just started doing the same when we got the UEV.

The freezer I set to -18, just because I read somewhere that freezers should be set to -18.

Hi Basel
I have a weaco which I run at 3degrees. When it cycles it goes from 1 degree to 3
In our 440 we have a national 90 ltr which has frig and freezer we were told at Conqueror Brisbane that there should be at least a 2 degree differential. ie frig at 2 degrees and freezer 0 degrees.
regards
Glevin

Hey Basel,

We have got 90L NatLuna two door fridge freezer.

We started at 0 and -20. But found that it was running to often and chewing up the batteries, particularly on the hot days.

Since then we gradually reduced the temps. Now days the Fridge is set at 3deg and freezer at -5.

Since reducing the temps we keep frozen meat in bottom basket of the freezer and not so important frozen stuff like bread, peas & cord etc in the top, but nothing is thawed not even in the top basket. The fridge is fine at 3degs and getting longer battery life.

Cheers

We have NatLuna 90L and started at Freezer -12 and fridge at 3.  Running out of power at our last trip we changed to -6 and 6 with no discernible effect.
