Hi guys and Guyesses

I have just taken possession of a new FlexoPower flexible roll out solar panel.

At this stage I haven't done any real life testing other than to plug it in and make sure it works -it does

My intention is to try and do a couple of tests:

one will be 'real life' and will basically entail plugging it into the Anderson plug I have had wired into the 490 and see what it does.

The other test will be to connect it to a less than full 12v battery which will have a light attached to create  draw from the battery and then see what amps I get when placing a clamp meter around the wires.

Wont be very scientific or detailed - I am not smart enough for that nor do I have the patience these days. But hopefully it will reflect how well it works in the application it was designed for

I'll be watching this with interest as I plan on plugging in portable solar via Anderson plug.

What size panel and you testing?

Hi,

I was wondering what sort of coin they were asking?
Did you order it from South Africa or a local distributor?

Cheers.

Local distributor

1 panel with regulator and 10mtr extension cable will probably retail for $1100
