Hi all,

Can you add a do 35 hitch on a commander s, without doing the upgrade?

Cheers

Hi there, no one else has come up with an answer yet, but about a month ago I changed the hitch on my 440 to a Trigg. I removed the old Conqueror hitch and castings, made up a heavy mounting plate and bolted on the hitch and new hand brake system. I imaging the Do35 would be very similar. To me it looks a lot nicer than the original Conqueror hitch. I also changed to 12" electric brakes while I was going and got rid of the overrides. The Companion S model was the cheaper model with the lighter chassis and without the bells and whistles. I couldnt see the sense in paying the extra $10K for the chassis and brake upgrade, so did it a lot cheaper myself. Hope I can attach the photo for you. Regards Bucko.

I had a custom thing made up for an Oz-hitch on my Commander.
Now it is a simple bolt on replacement.

@Soskelly We changed out the TREG on our UEV-490 to the DO35 V3 recently, bolts were alined the same.. just a clean straight swap over, best bit of kit going around IMHO.
