Potentially me, we just returned from a trip to Ningaloo Station on thursdy, drove down on 18th and out on 26th. I’ve got a UEV440.

We'd just done 4 nights at Karijini, then 5 nights at Bullara Station. We were doing a day trip to Coral Bay when i spotted it, nice looking rig.

I'd never driven north but would recommend it to all, i prefer the inland drive though, less cars, yes there are road trains, but awesome straights for overtaking.

Best scenery for me was the drive from Newman to Karijini.

Might try and stay at Yardie Creek next year.

If you were referring to a Commander parked at the rest area/petrol station coral bay (thereabout) turnoff on 21/4 Sat, it could be me. I saw a 490 zoomed by without filling its tank. If I remember correctly it was a white Prado passing by.

I'm pretty sure it was Saturday the 21st.

I'd pulled out of Burkett Rd (Bullara Station) heading towards Coral Bay whoever it was, was heading north.

I don't know the difference between a 440 and a 490, plus concentrating on how narrow that road is with some random caravan towing crazy's.

Didn't realise there's a few out there, good to know.

Felt sick though when they said those two kids went missing at Ningaloo.

Can anyone recommend Ningaloo Station or Waroora?

Stretto78 - do you have a dark coloured vehicle, actually to be honest can't remember the vehicle, but the Conqueror's stand out like dog nuts 😉

Those kids are safe and sound mate, all good.

Ningaloo Station and Warroora are amazing JRad! Got to check it out.
The road into Ningaloo Station is absolute crap though, gotta take it slow.
If you guys are on the Facebook Conqueror page, I've done a post about a potential WA meetup here at one of the stations. Let us know if you are keen.

You'll find lots of pics from Ningaloo Station and Warroora on my Instragram account:

This one here is Warroora:

We left Coral Bay on Saturday 21st April around 9.30-10.00am. Heading north to Broome. Silver  LC200 with a 440 behind. Just spent 2 weeks in Coral Bay. Love the place. Go every year.

Hi mate, I was heading to work and saw it coming towards me. I have a new work vehicle and hasn't got the UHF installed yet, so I couldn't call them up. I then popped into the Bowenville Resereve where I first met you, just to see who was around.

We will be on the road in 5 weeks for our big 3 month journey through NT and Broome. Just getting things ready. Hope your repairs are going well, sounds like you have found just the guy to help....shame they are not a bit closer.

Make sure we keep in touch over next few months - 15th June I will be in Alice then across Gary Junction Road to Marble Bar and CARAWINE Gorge then up to Kimberley - we may very well cross paths again on this trip.

Make sure you put James Price Point (on the way to Cape Leveque) on your list

I find Broome quite expensive to stay and JPP is not that far away that you can't drive into Broome for supplies etc and the view is breath taking
