Hi everyone,

I can't seem to get my pictures to load here but they are on my ALBUM through my AVITAR. I don't know how to transfer them over but anyone interested can look in my album.
They are of my homemade Drawbar extension, wider axles with electric brakes and larger front storage box.

Hello Russell,
Nice work Russell and clearly you are a fabricator...............a skill many of us would love to possess.

May I ask why you have extended the drawbar by so much?
Will it not interfere with your approach angle of the Commander?

On the right side of your front bed you have a box of some sort. What is that?

Thanks for sharing your photos.
Cheers, Filbee56

Hi Filbee56!

I'm a mechanic , not a fabricator buy a long shot . I just like playing around in my shed building things and practice makes perfect they say , All self taught trial and error . I do have a pretty good set up in my shed ( 200 sq/mtrs ) with 3 mig welders , plasma cutter , tig , oxy , lathe , hoist , gantry , etc , etc . I still have to work out how to use the tig welder and the lathe is a lot of fun practicing .

I extended the draw bar just enough to open the canopy and tailgate of the Ranger with the bed set up without un-hitching the car . If i have trouble with the approach angle I will make a new draw bar that will slide in and lock for off road . I think i'll make it anyway just for fun .

I don't see the box you are refering to , which picture is it in ?
