Hey Gengis, I think he got the tank from Webasto?? But I got mine from Diesel heating Australia although mine doesn't have the 240v element. Very happy with the system I fitted and good to deal with, there are some pictures on here if you search for them. Think its under Webasto alternatives?
Cheers

Hi Comjero,

Thanks for responding, Sorry for the late reply, My understanding is that Bruce mentions he got an alternative hot water tank as Webasto would not sell him one? I am going to install a diesel system in my conqueror and will use the Diesel heating Australia unit without the holding tank. This unit is half the price of the Webasto unit and looks the same, however, I want to install the unit as Bruce has in his pictures and the holding tank from Diesel heating Australia does not fit in front of the vanity sink. So I will be purchasing the clear tank if I can find out where he purchased it from.

I was at the caravan and camping show over last weekend and the guy at the Webasto stand did not know of the clear tank. The other thing I liked was that the hot water could be heated from 240v via an element inside the tank. We often stay at caravan parks and would use this feature often.

Thanks in advance,

Gengis

Hi Gengis, not really up on what you mean by the "clear" tank?? But I think Bruce couldn't buy the plate heat exchanger so had to purchase the 16 liter glycol tank that is mounted in his front box which heats his water the smaller tank in the vanity cavity has less glycol capacity and is for his heater I think ,so he has two tanks.
The more glycol in your system the better, DHA do it all using the one tank,so if it doesn't fit you may have to mount it elsewhere or have one custom made.
Anyway good luck with your project.
