Sharing the same Conqueror craftsmanship of rugged construction, the Commander
also features Conqueror’s patented independent suspension system and impeccable
weight distribution for superior handling and control. It rides slightly lower to the ground,
has a lighter galvanised chassis due to the straightened C-section on the front beams,
a shorter drawbar with traditional ball coupling and over-ride drum brakes. Notably, the
suspension includes a sway-bar, a feature not often seen in camper trailers.

The Commander has a lot of features to make you want to sit up and take note. There is
a dinette at the rear that will comfortably seat four and this can be converted to a double
bed and left made up if desired. There is a lot of storage space internally segmented
into 11 compartments, two of which access the side pantry shelves from the interior, all
closed by canvas doors with zips. The fridge can also be accessed from the interior.

The Commander has a hard roof and because nothing folds out or touches the
ground, setup and pack-up in sandy, muddy or dusty conditions is quick and easy. The
streamlined tent design uses minimum poles, pegs and ropes.

This hybrid off-road caravan with its extensive features and appealing price point makes
it one of the most attractive propositions for families and off-road adventurers.
